It was function day at the school, bustling with students and hurried teachers. Vrinda was deeply engrossed in final dance practice when the organizer delivered troubling news: the main dancer was unwell and unable to perform.
"Ab kya kare?" Vrinda fretted.
Shriyan, passing by, inquired, "Kya hua sab itne tense kyu lag rahe ho?"
"Woh hamara main dancer ki tabiyat kharab hai, woh nahi aa sakta," Vrinda explained tensely.
"Toh koi aur dancer dekho," Shriyan suggested.
"Uske jitna accha dance koi nahi kar sakta aur thodi der he bachi hai performance ke liye, itni jaldi kaise sikhayenge hum new dancer ko," Vrinda lamented.
"Ab kya kare?" Shriyan pondered.
Remembering Anish's dancing skills, Shriyan proposed, "Anish hamari madad kar sakta hai."
"Unhe dance karna aata hai?" Vrinda asked skeptically.
"Itna accha nahi, par abhi wahi hamari madad kar sakta hai," Shriyan replied.
"Accha chalo unse puchte hai phir," Vrinda agreed.
Approaching Anish on the school grounds, Shriyan called out to him. Anish, seeing Vrinda with Shriyan, approached them.
"Haa bolo na Shriyan, kya hua?" Anish asked.
"Woh hume tumhari madad chahiye," Shriyan said.
"Kyu, kya hua sab thik toh hai?" Anish inquired.
"Woh hamare main dancer ki tabiyat kharab hai, toh tumhe use replace karna hoga," Shriyan explained.
"Par... Mai... toh..." Anish hesitated.
"Please mana mat kijiye, hamare pass koi dusra option nahi hai," Vrinda pleaded anxiously.
"Thik hai, mujhe steps bata do," Anish finally agreed.
Anish went to the dance room where Vrinda asked the organizer to teach him the steps. Despite the short notice, Anish learned the routine quickly, and soon it was time for their performance.
As Vrinda and Shriyan watched the dance unfold, Vrinda couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy seeing Anish dance with another girl. She clenched her fists tightly until the dance ended.
Observing Vrinda's emotions, Vaidehi approached her after the function ended.
"Mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai," Vaidehi said.
"Haa bolo na, kya hua?" Vrinda asked.
"Tum dance ke time itne gusse main kyu thi?" Vaidehi questioned.
"Voh... hum... pata nahi, hume bahut gussa aya tha uss time Anish ko kisi aur ladki ke saath dekh kar," Vrinda admitted, her disappointment evident.
"Mai keh rahi thi na tumhe woh pasand hai... tumhe abhi jealousy bhi feel ho rahi hai," Vaidehi remarked excitedly.
"Shayad tum sahi keh rahi ho," Vrinda acknowledged without denying her feelings this time.
"Kya... Sach mei pasand hai?" Vaidehi asked curiously.
"Humne kaha na, hum abhi sure nahi hai," Vrinda replied.
Vrinda left, pondering over her feelings. "Kahin... kya humein sach mein unse prem ho gaya hai?" she wondered aloud.
"Haa," Vaidehi answered from behind.
"Chup karo," Vrinda said, placing a finger on her lips.
"Tumhe accept kyu nahi karna ki tumhe woh pasand hai?" Vaidehi asked seriously.
"Prem shabd sunte hi hume RadhaKrishna ki kahani yaad aati hai," Vrinda explained.
"Toh?" Vaidehi asked, confused.
"Unke jaisa prem kisi ka nahi ho sakta, aur prem ek pavitra bhavana hai. Agar hum use nibha nahi paaye acchi tarah se, toh RadhaKrishna ka aapman ho jayega, aur Anish bhi hurt ho jayega. Woh hum bardaasht nahi kar sakte," Vrinda expressed emotionally.
"Tum bahut soch rahi ho. Aur RadhaKrishna jaisa prem kisi ka nahi ho sakta, lekin unki prerna lekar agar tune prem kiya, toh woh dono tumhara saath kyu nahi denge?" Vaidehi reasoned.
"Aur Anish ka kya? Humne kabhi kisi se prem nahi kiya jaisa hum unse karte hai... lekin agar humse koi galti ho gayi ya woh hume samaj nahi paaye, toh hum kya karenge?" Vrinda expressed her concern.
"Tu bahot jyada soch rahi hai, aisa kuch nahi hoga," Vaidehi reassured Vrinda.
Shriyan, overhearing their conversation as he approached Vrinda with expenses for the teacher, said, "Vrinda..."
"Haa bolo na," Vrinda responded.
"Woh tumhe ye expenses dene the," Shriyan said, handing her the money.
"Waise ek friend ki tarah tumhe bata raha hu mai yaha khada tha toh maine sab sun liya. Tum bahot jyada soch rahi ho, kya pata Anish bhi tumhe pasand karta ho?" Shriyan suggested.
"Wahi toh bata rahi hu mai kabse," Vaidehi added.
"Thank You, Shriyan. Mai iske bare mai jaror sochungi. Mujhe thoda time chaiye," Vrinda said thoughtfully.
Vaidehi was about to say something, but Shriyan interrupted, "Tumhe jitna time lena hai, lena. Koi baat nahi."
Vaidehi looked puzzled, but Shriyan winked at her, reassuring her that he was correct. Vaidehi nodded in response.
Vrinda left to deliver the expenses to the teacher.
"Tumne aisa kyu kaha, jitna time lena hai lena?" Vaidehi asked.
"Use chaiye hoga time, tumhe badi jaldi hai?" Shriyan questioned.
"Are nahi..." Vaidehi began, but she was interrupted as a student accidentally bumped into her, causing her to fall.
"Sorry, I am really sorry," the student apologized.
"Tum thik ho? Chot toh nahi aayi? Utho," Shriyan asked worriedly.
"Haa, mai thik hu," Vaidehi assured him.
As Vaidehi attempted to stand up, she stumbled again.
"Kya hua?" Shriyan asked concernedly.
"Shayad pair mai laga hai, khade hone nahi aa raha hai mujhe," Vaidehi said.
Shriyan gently lifted her up, "Tum... yeh kya kar rahe ho?"
"Tum chal nahi sakti toh aur kya kar sakta hu?" Shriyan countered.
"Sorry," Vaidehi said, feeling a bit shy.
"Are tumse galti se ho gaya, usme sorry kya," Shriyan reassured her.
"Thank You," Vaidehi said gratefully.
"Uski bhi koi jaroorat nahi hai," Shriyan replied warmly.
Vaidehi was deeply touched by Shriyan's caring nature
