As they faced each other, Anish was about to speak, but Vrinda turned towards the idol of RadhaKrishna and joined both her hands, showing the respect she had for them. Anish watched her simplicity; she was wearing a white kurti, and her dupatta was draped over her head as she worshipped. It slightly fell from her head to her shoulders as she finished worshipping and turned towards Anish.
Awkwardly, Anish lifted his hand and asked Vrinda if he could put her dupatta back on her head, which made Vrinda blush a little as she nodded, looking down. Anish carefully lifted her dupatta, ensuring his hands didnāt touch her body while placing it back on her head.
"Aap ko kuch kehna tha na?" Vrinda asked in a soft tone.
"Haa, mujhe aap se kuch kehna haiā¦ā Anish said, taking a deep breath and looking directly into Vrinda's eyes. "Mai bhagwan mai believe nahi karta, par tumhe hamesha RadhaKrishna ka naam lete suna hai isliye tumhe yaha bulaya," Anish said, maintaining eye contact.
"Mai bhagwan mai believe kyu nahi karta, aisa tumhe khayal aaya hogaā¦" Anish continued, taking another deep breath.
"Aap thik toh haiā¦ mere man mai koi aisa sawal nahi aaya," Vrinda said, observing Anish's condition.
"Mai tumhe jaroor bataunga par uske pahele kya aap mere ek sawaal ka jawab dengi?" Anish asked Vrinda.
Vrinda nodded, looking at Anish.
"Tum RadhaKrishna mai believe karti hoā¦ mujhe pata hai unke jaisa kisi ka prem nahi ho sakta. Par kya aap meri Radha banengiā¦ Vrinda Chaturvedi, kya aap meri premi banna pasand karengi? Mai aapse prem karta hu. Mujhe yeh toh pata nahi ke bhagwan Krishna Radha rani se kitna prem karte the par shart laga sakta hu ki usse kam nahi hoga mera prem. Kya aapko mera prem swikar hai?" Anish said, looking into Vrinda's eyes. She was already blushing, listening to his words.
"Humā¦ whoā¦ aapā¦" Vrinda stammered, unable to speak due to shyness and the way Anish asked her directly.
"Mujhe jawab abhi chaiye aisa nahi hai. Aap soch sakti hai aur phir jawab de sakti haiā¦ Mai bus apne feelings aapse share karna chahta tha aur aap bhi wahi feel kare aisa koi compulsion nahi haiā¦ You can take your time," Anish said to Vrinda.
"Jiiā¦" Vrinda said.
As Anish was about to leave and was standing on the stairs, Vrinda called him, "Suniye..."
"Kahiye," Anish replied.
"Hum bhi aapse prem karte haiā¦ Hame pata nahi ki Radha rani kitna prem karti thi bhagwan Krishna se par mai bhi shart laga sakti hu usse kam nahi hoga," Vrinda said, blushing and looking at the idol of RadhaKrishna with her eyes closed, her hand on her necklace of RadhaKrishna.
Anish turned towards her while Vrinda's eyes remained closed.
"Kya aap sach keh rahi hai?" Anish said, surprised. "Aap soch ke bhi jawab de sakti thi itni jaldi bhi nahi thi."
"Humne bahot koshish ki aapse prem na kare parā¦ hamse who nahi ho paayaā¦ ham toh aapse bahot prem karne lage hai," Vrinda said, holding Anish's hands.
They both sat on the temple stairs, holding hands and talking about their interests. Vrinda was looking at the moon, admiring its beauty.
"Kitna khoobsurat hai na," Vrinda said, her eyes on the moon.
"Haa, bahot," Anish replied, but he was looking at Vrinda.
"Suniye," Vrinda said in her soft tone.
"Aapki baatein sunne ke liye toh mai hamesha tayar hu. Aap bas hukum kijiye," Anish replied, making Vrinda blush.
"Agar humse koi galati ho gayi toh aap hame samjhenge na, aap hame sambhal lenge na?" Vrinda asked in a caring voice.
"Aap aisa kyu puch rahi haiā¦ mai hamesha aapka saath dunga aur aapki har galti meri galti hogi kyuki ab aap bhi meri hai na," Anish replied, holding both of Vrinda's hands and looking at her.
"Chaliye, sone jaate hai. Bahot der ho gayi hai," Vrinda said, her cheeks turning pink from blushing.
"Jii," Anish said.
As they both went to their respective rooms, neither could sleep. Vrinda was blushing, unable to believe that the incident really happened in her lifeāAnish had really proposed to her. It felt like a dream to her. Unable to sleep, she thought of getting some fresh air outside and went for a walk.
"Hey Kanha, yeh sab sach hai par sapne jaise kyu lag raha hai?" she murmured to herself. "Bass abb koi gadbad hone na denaā¦" she said, holding her pendant and looking at the sky. "Par woh bhagwan mai believe kyu nahi karte haiā¦ aisa kya hua hoga joh itna bada decision le liya?" Vrinda pondered as Anish left her in her thoughts. "Jab unhe batana hoga tab bata dengeā¦" Vrinda said to herself and was about to leave but saw Anish standing in the balcony.
"Mujhe neend nahi aa rahi hai," Anish said to himself and went to the balcony to watch the moon he saw with Vrinda earlier. "Itna jyada time bhi nahi hua usse mile aur already miss kar raha hu use," Anish murmured to himself while watching the moon.
Vrinda was looking at Anish, the moonlight rays falling on his face making him look more charming. As Vrinda watched Anish, he turned to enter his room to sleep but then saw Vrinda looking at him. He also looked at her, but Vrinda was so lost in Anish that she didnāt notice he was looking at her. Anish waved his hand towards Vrinda, making her conscious. Due to shyness, Vrinda immediately looked down while Anish smiled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Good night," Vrinda whispered to Anish.
"Good night, my love," Anish said with a flying kiss, making Vrinda blush again.
Vrinda and Anish both went to their respective rooms and slept. The morning came, and the streets of Jaipur were bustling. Everyone was busy with the wedding arrangements, which were planned for the day after tomorrow.
Vrinda and her cousins were helping with the decoration arrangements.
"Vrinda, woh flowers pass karna," Shambhavi, who was attaching the flowers to the entrance gate, said to Vrinda.
"Haa," Vrinda replied.
Just then, Anish came and passed the flowers to Shambhavi.
"Didi, yeh flowers aapko chaiye the na," Anish said.
"Thank you," Shambhavi replied.
Anish smiled while looking at Vrinda and left for other arrangements. Shambhavi looked around to make sure no one was around.
"Kya hua? Kya kaha usne?" Shambhavi inquired, looking at Vrinda.
"Kuch nahi," Vrinda said, hiding her blush.
"Mujhse kyu chipa rahi hai? Bol bhi," Shambhavi said.
"Wohā¦ Kal unhone mujhe propose kiyaā¦" Vrinda said, getting shy.
"Kyaaa?" Shambhavi said in a really loud voice.
"Kya huaa?" Sharvari came near them, hearing Shambhavi's voice.
"Kuchā¦ nahi," Shambhavi said, getting embarrassed.
"Mai dar gayi thi," Sharvari said before leaving.
"Sorry, Masi," Shambhavi said.
After the decorations were done, it was sangeet night for the bride and groom. The groom suggested a game where one would come forward and name the partner they wanted to dance withā¦ whoever they wanted. Everyone agreed and loved the idea.
Priyansh was the youngest, so he got the first chance to choose his partner. He selected a girl his age named Meghana.
"I choose Meghana as my partner," Priyansh said.
"Shambhavi will pick her partner next" Vrinda said.
"Thik hai," Shambhavi answered. "Mai Ayush ko apna partner choose karti hu," Shambhavi said, looking at Ayush, who was her fiancƩ.
"Abb mai choose karungi," Vrinda said.
"Nahi beta, Anish ko choose karne do," Sharvari added.
"Par mummyā¦ Accha thik hai," Vrinda said.
"Aunty, koi baat nahi. Woh kare ya mai karu, baat to ek hi hai. Karne dijiye use," Anish said to Sharvari.
"Thik hai, karo," Sharvari said to Vrinda.
"Mai apna partner Anish ko choose karti hu," Vrinda said.
They both looked shyly at each other, creating a romantic moment.
"Toh abb sab apne partners ke saath dance karenge," the bride added.
Everyone had selected their songs with their partners. First, the pair of Shambhavi and Ayush came on stage and danced to the song "Nachde ne saare," making everyone excited and earning lots of claps and appreciation. Next was Priyansh and Meghana, who danced to the song "Batameez dil," stunning everyone and also receiving a lot of appreciation.
The only pair left was Vrinda and Anish. They looked at each other and proceeded to the stage. Anish stood up on stage and offered his hand to Vrinda, who was carrying her dress and found it hard to climb the stairs. Vrinda took his hand, and they both were on stage.
The music started playing "Radha," and everyone focused on Vrinda and Anish, who were lost in each other and the music. They started dancing, feeling as if no one else was around.
As Sharvari got a call, she left to attend it because the music was loud, and she couldn't hear what the person on the other side was saying. Sharad was busy with relatives who were coincidentally his friends from work.
When the music stopped, the sound of claps brought Vrinda and Anish back to reality. They thanked everyone for the appreciation and left the stage.
It was time for the main couple to danceāthe bride and groom danced to a mashup. Later, everyone had their dinner. Vrinda sat in the garden, scrolling through her phone, until Anish joined her, catching her attention.
"Kya mujhe tum apna insta id de sakti ho? Senorita," Anish asked.
"Jii jaroor. Vaise aapne abhi kya kaha?" Vrinda said, blushing at the nickname Anish gave her.
"Senorita," Anish said, making Vrinda blush again.
"Kyu pasand nahi aaya?" Anish enquired.
"Nahi, aisa nahi hai," Vrinda answered.
"De do na phir, Senorita," Anish said again.
"Jii," Vrinda said and gave her Instagram ID.
"Number?" Anish asked, confused.
"Baad mai itni aasani se nahi dungi," Vrinda said, smiling and making her way to her room, leaving Anish blushing outside.
"Kisi din yeh ladki mujhe pagal kar degiā¦ Haste hui kitni khoobsoorat dikhti haiā¦ mar hi na jau mai," Anish said to himself before making his way to his room.
As Vrinda entered her room, her cousins were discussing shopping.
"Kya discussion chal rahi hai?" Vrinda asked curiously.
"Woh di, hum na kal koi function nahi hai toh shopping pr jaane ki baat kar rahe the," Priya answered.
"Haa, maja aayega. Tum bhi chalo na," Shambhavi added.
"Humā¦ Thik hai. Kal challte hai," Vrinda said.
"Par hum shaam mei jayenge. Maine suna hai Jaipur shaam mai bahot accha dikhta hai," Priya added.
"Haa, yeh baat toh maine bhi suni hai," Ayush, Shambhaviās fiancĆ©, added.
"Aap bhi aayenge?" Shambhavi said, looking at him.
"Jii, kyu nahiā¦ Aa sakta hu na agar aapki ijajat ho to?" Ayush said, looking at Shambhavi, making her blush.
"Aww di, jiju aapse permission mang rahe hai," Vrinda said mischievously, looking at Shambhavi, making her more shy.
"Chup kar, aisa kuch nahi hai," Shambhavi said to Vrinda.
As the discussions continued, Vrinda's phone made a notification sound. She picked up her phone and blushed a little upon seeing a message from Anish on her Instagram.
"So gayi kya, meri senorita?" Anish messaged.
"Meri?" Vrinda replied.
"Abb toh aap meri hi hai naā¦ ya fir mai aapkaā¦" Anish typed mischievously.
āā¤ļøš,ā Vrinda replied.
āAap kyu soye nahi abhi tak?ā Vrinda typed.
āNahiā¦ aapki yaadon mai khoya tha, neend nahi aa rahi thi,ā Anish replied.
āAap ko kya ho gaya hai?? Aise kyu bol rahe hai?ā Vrinda typed.
āAapse pyaar,ā Anish answered.
āAccha chalo, mai abhi sone jaa rahi hu. Kal subah baat karte hai,ā Vrinda replied.
āJii,ā Anish said.
āGood night ā¤ļø,ā Vrinda typed.
āGood night, senorita š,ā Anish typed.
After a few seconds, Anish uploaded a story with the song "Abhi na jao chood kr ye dil abhi bhara nahi."
Vrinda viewed the story while she was closing the app.
āHum abb kahi nahi jaa rahe haiā¦ aapne rishta banaya hai toh hame jhelna toh padega hi,ā Vrinda replied to Anish's story, making him blush a little.
āHum aapko kahi jaane bhi nahi dengeā¦ aur aapko toh hum umar bhar ke liye jhel sakte hai ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø,ā Anish replied.
āByee, soo jaiye abhi,ā Vrinda said.
āJo agya, devi,ā Anish typed.
They both laughed at the screen of their phones and with a final good night, both slept in their respective rooms.
