"Vrinda beta, tumhe Anish ke ghar jana hoga. Uski tabyat kharab hai aur Meghana ghar par nahi hai. Woh akela hai toh tum jao na. Main busy hu toh nahi ja sakti. Please chali jao," Sharvari said to Vrinda in a pleading way.
"Par mummy, woh kaha rehta hai? Aur mai kaise jau?" Vrinda asked.
"Main tumhe address deti hu na. Usne kuch khaya nahi hai abhi tak. Main tumhe kuch bana ke deti hu, bas woh de kar aana use," Shambhavi said.
"Anish ki tabiyat thik nahi hai?" Vrinda asked her mother with a caring tone.
"Wahi toh bol rahi hu, beta," Shambahvi said.
"Hey Kanha, iss liye school nahi aaye the aaj. Kya hua hoga, kya pata?" Vrinda said to herself, concerned.
"Jaaogi na?" Sharvari asked again to confirm.
"Ji mummy, jaati hu," Vrinda assured her.
Vrinda went to her room, got ready, and took the tiffin to be given to Anish.
"Mummy, mai tiffin de kar aati hu," Vrinda said.
"Jaldi aana wapis," Sharvari said before Vrinda left.
"Haan mummy," Vrinda said.
As she reached the address given by her mother, she stood at the door and thought of calling Anish so he could open the door rather than ringing the doorbell.
"Hey Kanha, yeh kya ho gaya, hum toh apna phone ghar pe hi bhul gaye," Vrinda said to herself, realizing she didn’t have her phone.
"Koi baat nahi, doorbell hi bajati hu," Vrinda said and was about to ring the doorbell when she noticed the door was slightly open and Anish was talking with a girl who looked their age.
Vrinda watched for a while, then rang the doorbell. The girl came and opened the door, asking who Vrinda was.
"Aap kaun hai?" the girl asked.
"Main Anish ki friend hu. Unki tabiyat kharab hai toh milne aayi thi," Vrinda answered.
"Accha... Andar aao na," the girl said.
"Kaun hai?" Anish asked. Then he saw Vrinda entering the door.
"Aap thik toh hai na? Achanak se kaise tabiyat kharab ho gayi? Kal tak toh theek the," Vrinda asked in a caring voice.
"Are senorita, itna kuch nahi hua. Main theek hu. Itni fikr hai meri jo mujhse milne chali aayi," Anish said with a smirk and a smile.
"Woh... mummy ne aapke liye yeh tiffin diya hai aur yeh medicines hai. Meghana aunty ne prescription bheja tha toh mummy ne laa kar rakhe the," Vrinda said.
The girl who opened the door handed a glass of water to Vrinda.
"Thank you," Vrinda said to her with a smile.
"Main chalti hu... apna khayal rakhna," Vrinda said to Anish.
"Nahi, abhi toh aayi ho. Ruko thodi der. Aur tumhe kitne messages kiye, tumhara phone kaha hai?" Anish asked.
"Woh hum phone ghar pe hi bhul ke aa gaye hai," Vrinda said, feeling a little awkward.
"Yeh lo, mera phone aunty ko call karo, woh chinta kar rahi hongi," Anish said, handing his phone to Vrinda.
"Anish, main abhi chalti hu," the girl said to Anish, who nodded in response.
As the girl left, Vrinda asked, "Yeh kaun hai?" in a jealous tone, a little irritated.
"Kyu kya hua?" Anish asked teasingly, understanding Vrinda’s jealousy.
"Aap mujhse puch rahe hai kya hua?" Vrinda said, getting a little angry.
"Accha, woh just ek friend hai. Aur kuch nahi. Mere liye toh meri behen jaisi hai," Anish assured her.
"Agar tumhe pasand nahi hai toh aaj se nahi bolunga usse," Anish added.
"Nahi, aisi baat nahi par..." Vrinda said.
"Par kuch nahi. Tum mere ghar ki lakshmi ho, yeh main pehle se jaanta hu. Aur main sach keh raha hu agar tumhe woh pasand nahi toh bol do. Waise usse jyada tum important ho mere liye," Anish assured Vrinda.
"Ji," Vrinda said, getting a little shy.
"Iss muskan par toh main apni jaan laga du," Anish said dramatically, keeping his right hand on his heart.
"Aap bhi na," Vrinda said, shyly.
"Chaliye, kuch kha lijiye aur medicines bhi toh khaani hai," Vrinda said.
"Jaisa tum kaho, senorita," Anish said.
Vrinda got up and was making a plate for Anish when he arrived.
"Yeh kya, aap nahi khayengi? Ek hi plate kyu?" Anish asked.
"Nahi, hum nahi khayenge. Hum kha kar aaye hai. Yeh toh aap ke liye tha," Vrinda answered, sitting on the chair in front of him at the dining table.
As Anish started to eat, Vrinda watched TV. After he finished everything, Vrinda brought him medicines and told him to sleep for a while as he had a very high fever.
As Anish slept in his bed, Vrinda sat beside him, reading a book. After a while, she woke up, realizing she had slept there, her head on the bed where Anish was sleeping. Anish had woken up and saw Vrinda pretending to sleep.
He admired her beauty as she slept, her hair on her face disturbing her peaceful sleep. Anish gently tucked her hair behind her ears so she wouldn’t wake up.
Vrinda chuckled at his act, revealing she was awake before him. He smiled at her, and she smiled back.
"Kaisa lag raha hai tumhe?" Vrinda asked, placing her hand on Anish's forehead to check if the fever had gone down.
"Main theek hu. Itna bhi chinta mat rakha karo," Anish said with a smile, loving how Vrinda cared for him.
"Waise senorita, aaj school mai kya hua?" Anish asked.
"Itna kuch nahi hua. Shriyan aapke bare mai puch raha tha," Vrinda said.
"Main usse call karne wala tha par socha ki kal waise bhi school aane wala hu toh bata dunga," Anish said.
"Aapko aaram karna chahiye. Itna bhi kuch important nahi hai school mai," Vrinda said.
"Nahi senorita. Bahot din ho gaye school nahi gaya. Toh aana toh padega. Aur ek wahi toh jagah hai jaha aapko dekhneka chance milta hai," Anish said mischievously.
"Itne bimar hai par abhi bhi masti karni hai," Vrinda said, laughing.
Anish laughed too.
"Apna khayal rakhna. Main abhi chalti hu, nahi toh mummy datengi. Phone bhi nahi hai mere paas," Vrinda said to Anish.
"Ruko, main aata hu tumhe drop karne," Anish said.
"Nahi, aap aaram kariye. Main chali jaungi," Vrinda said.
"Nahi, tum akele mat jaana. Paas hi toh hai, main aata hu," Anish said.
"Wahi toh main keh rahi hu. Paas hi toh hai, main chali jaungi," Vrinda said.
"Par main aata hu na, please," Anish said.
"Nahi, bilkul nahi," Vrinda said.
"Jaisa aap kaho," Anish said.
As Vrinda stood at the entrance door, she turned to look at Anish, who was still insisting on coming.
"Agar aap phir kisi ladki ke saath dikhe na aur woh bhi itne close, toh dekhna," Vrinda said mischievously, laughing as it was a joke.
"Nahi senorita, aisa nahi hoga. Tumhari kasam," Anish said.
They both laughed, looking at each other.
"Bye," Vrinda said.
"I love you too," Anish replied.
"Humne bye bola," Vrinda said.
"Pata nahi hume I love you kyu sunai de raha hai," Anish said, leaving Vrinda blushing.
As Vrinda left and came home, she found her mother waiting for her, while her father was already at home. Seeing her daughter, Sharvari asked, "Itni der kyu laga di? Anish thik toh hai na beta?"
"Haan mummy, woh thik hai. Hum... woh..." Vrinda said.
"Accha chodo, jaane do. Woh thik hai na, bas. Chalo jaldi fresh ho jao aur thodi der baad khana khaane aa jana," Sharvari said.
"Ji mummy. Abhi study karna hai toh room main hu. Kuch kaam ho toh bata dena," Vrinda said and went to her bedroom.
After freshening up, she sat at her study table and remembered to message Anish. She was shocked to see over 20 messages on Instagram from Vaidehi. As she opened the chat hurriedly to check if something happened, she saw that all the messages were just reels shared by Vaidehi. She sighed in relief and messaged Anish to let him know she was home. He responded immediately.
They talked for a while, and Vrinda mentioned that she needed to study, ending the conversation.
As she tried to focus on her studies, her mind kept drifting back to what had happened earlier. She shook her head and reminded herself, "Vrinda, padhai bhi karo abhi. Kal school hai," and shifted her focus back to the book.
After some time, Sharvari called Vrinda for dinner. After dinner, Vrinda went back to her room and checked her phone. Vaidehi and Isha were talking in their WhatsApp group. Vrinda scrolled through the earlier chats to see what they were discussing.
"Hi," Isha had messaged.
"Hii," Vaidehi replied.
"Kkrh," Isha asked.
"Kuch nahi," Vaidehi replied.
"Suno, tumhe pata hai Vrinda relationship mein hai," Vaidehi said to Isha.
"Kya? Tum joke kar rahi ho na, Vaidu?" Isha interrogated.
"Are nahi, sach bol rahi hu," Vaidehi assured Isha.
Vaidehi explained the whole story in a voice note, shocking Isha when she found out that the boy was none other than Anish.
They chatted for a while, and after that, Vrinda fell asleep while Isha and Vaidehi continued chatting.
